From 14 to 17 June 2023 ELT was held at the Faculty of Education, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Anna Chesnokova participated in an on-site event as part of the research project entitled ‘Gender-ing English language teaching (ELT): International perspectives, practices, policies’.

During the event, Anna Chesnokova had an opportunity to conduct working meetings with representatives of project member countries, to present the collective monograph Gender equality in English language teaching practice: A resource book for teacher education (with 3 chapters written by students from the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology at Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University), published by the British Council, to plan the submission of a grant application for the next project, and to participate in a working meeting with Prof. Sonia Zyngier (Federal University of Rio de Janeiro) to discuss the organization of the course "Literary Awareness" for master's and doctoral students at the Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University.
